Pre requisite knowledge :- knowledge of simple geometric terms like line,line segment , circle , radius and angle etc.

Teaching Aids:- Green Board, chalk, duster , charts ,smart board projecter etc .

Method :- Deductive  and lecture method.

Educational objectives :- after studying this students will be able to understand the term geometry and it's origin like

•Euclid's axioms and postulates.

• Difference between axiom and postulates.

• Differentiate Axioms and postulates and it's application in various geometrical concepts.

Engage:- Teacher will engage the students by asking the following questions:

• What is Geometry?

•Who is the father of Geometry ?

• Name the place where development of Geometry in india is done.

Explore/Explain :- Now after announcement of topic teacher will explain it like:

•Teacher will ask the class about the meaning of the word geometry. After getting the different answer from the class, Teacher himself explain it's meaning.

•Intro about Euclid's Geometry that means the word geometry comes from two word 'geo' meaning the 'earth' and metrein meaning the 'the measure' .

•Now teacher will introduce some basic definition to the students. After that they will able to discussion about Euclid's axiom and postulates.

Elaborate:- students extend their learning by studying basic concept about Some universal truths.

Final recapitulation:- Teacher will recall the main and important point at the end of lesson.

Evaluation :- At the end of the lesson a class test will be taken. Worksheets and assignment should be given to the students.
