•ch-4 linear equations in two variables class 9th.

• Ability to solve the equations and draw graphs.

Teaching Aids :- Green Board, chalk, duster, Charts.

Objectives:- 

•introduction of pair of linear equations in two variables.

• graphical method of solving the pair of linear equations in two variables.

• discuss the nature of solution ,type of graphs , consistency and inconsistency of the pair of equations.

• substitution method, elimination method and cross multiplication method of solving the equations.

Engage :-start the lecture by checking their previous knowledge.

Explanation :- 

•Teacher will write the general pair of linear equations in two variables and then explain its all components.

• Teacher will also use graphical method to explain pair of linear equations in two variables.

• Now teacher will Explain the topic and different solutions by using substitution method, elimination method and cross multiplication method.

• After that teacher will discuss about some applications of pair of linear equations in two variables and convert some real life problems into pair of linear equations in two variables.

Expected outcomes  :-

• students should know the all important concepts related to pair of linear equations in two variables and also able to draw equations on graph.

• student's should know the use of substitution of , elimination method and cross multiplication method to solve pair of linear equations in two variables.
